Natural Cleansers for Skin: Grapes

With the abundance of chemicals in most of today’s beauty products in the market, it’s no wonder that many of us have tried to find alternative ways for looking great the natural way! Maybe you’ve tried making soothing oatmeal facial skin care masks, or have put eggs into your hair for added shine. Another great super easy trick to try for healthy, glowing skin is to use grapes as a natural skin care cleanser.
Grapes are full of polyphenols, natural compounds that contain antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties,which not only help promote blood vessel resilience for skin health but also help protect against disease. In addition, research has shown that grape skin and seeds are a great source of OPCs (Oligomeric Proanthocyanidins), which promote collagen and elastin fibers.
How to use grapes as a natural skin cleanser
If you are prone to skin sensitivity or allergies, be sure to test a spot of skin first. Simply split a few grapes into halves and rub gently across your face for several minutes, then rinse with cool water. Alternatively, you can also mash a few grapes and apply, allow to dry, then rinse off after 15 minutes.
